How We Work

Our process is designed to be clear, structured and reliable. From initial intake through to storage, access and retrieval, every step is carefully managed and clearly logged, so you always know what is stored, where it is and how to access it.

With 24/7 CCTV monitoring and robust security, every item is logged and safeguarded with care. Our service is fully managed, from collection to storage and retrieval. All you need to do is pack the items, and our team takes care of the rest: transport, handling and secure placement in your dedicated storage zone.

Our Process

Initial intake

Clients can arrange their own transport or choose for Stockroom London to manage collection at a time that suits them.

Once items arrive on site, they are placed into a dedicated storage zone and logged into our online inventory system, giving you full visibility of what is stored and where it is located.

Storage

All items are stored within dedicated, access-controlled zones, with entry restricted to authorised personnel.

Clients are welcome to visit their storage space to review, organise or work with their items on site when needed. Storage can be arranged for both short and long-term requirements, without rigid contractual commitments.

Access and retrieval

When you need access to your items, simply let us know.

Our team will prepare your materials and arrange either delivery or on-site access, typically within the same or next working day. All movements are logged, ensuring your inventory remains accurate and up to date.

Disposals

Where items no longer need to be retained, we can arrange secure disposal through approved UK waste management partners.

Materials are shredded or recycled as appropriate, in full compliance with data protection regulations, with certification provided where required.

Discuss your storage needs with our team

“Stockroom London works well for us for storing our reserve museum and archive material. Over the past 8 years of working together, we have been able to have flexible access to our material (during working hours) and can store items in private and locked storage areas. Those are very important to us. There are few costs beyond the storage provision itself, which are mainly for transport and these charges are not expensive. We like the fact it is a well managed site and there’s always someone to help. We don’t have to go through lots of hoops to get things done and the team is very accommodating. It’s also in a great location and easy to get to as transport links are nearby. All in all we are extremely satisfied with the service.”
